I am happy to announce I won the Republican Hispanic Citizens in Action Straw Poll!

Harris County deserves a judge with a clear, consistent, conservative judicial philosophy—the conservative judicial philosophy I will bring to the bench. A judge has a unique and important role in our government, but a judge must understand the limits of that role. A judge must decide cases on the law and the Constitution, not on policy preferences. A judge must look to the meaning of the words that the legislature and our Founders used, not to the words he wishes had been used. And a judge must remember that a court is a neutral forum for resolving a legal dispute, not a pulpit to advance the interests of an ideology.

I have been honored to represent individuals, small businesses, large businesses, and non-profit organizations. It has been my privilege to do my duty as a member of the legal profession in serving our community.
